Spending any time ding hmewrk shwed advantages, but the influence was greater fr the students wh put in tw t three hurs a night, accrding t the study published by the Department fr Educatin in England.
The scientists wh did the research say their study emphasizes (强调)what students actually d rather than hw much wrk the schl has set.
Pam Sammns, a prfessr f educatin at Oxfrd University, said that time spent n hmewrk shwed the influence f the schl—if children were expected t d hmewrk and if
they enjy their subjects. “That’s ne f the reasns Indian and Chinese children d better. They put mre time in it.” he added.
