"I've been a member since the chapter was formed in 1990. From NAWBO I have learned how to run a better and more profitable business. The monthly programs have exposed me to ideas and solutions that I have utilized to change the way my company markets our products, manages our internal processes, and finances and trains our staff. I did not realize the extent of
this experience until my husband's company was in financial trouble and I was able to provide direction and contacts to him that helped the company survive."

NAWBO-Orange County Educational Seminar
Speaker: Mitch Seigel
Mitch Seigel, Founder of Nine Dot Marketing, a marketing and sales consultancy in Irvine, will lead us in a discussion on the differences and similarities of marketing and sales.
As a business owner, whether you’re new to ownership, or have years of experience behind you, an important question to ask yourself is; Now that I’ve created and nurtured the idea, how do I take it to market? This session will give you the steps of what is necessary to get the word out to the desired market for your product or service. It will help you understand the importance of setting sales goals and how it relates to your potential business available in your target market. You will leave with individual homework based on the exercises taught, and you will be thinking more clearly about the differences, as well as commonalities of sales and marketing.
Two key takeaways from his session:
• How to build a media plan and
• A template to develop a consultative needs assessment
