Zov Karamardian of Zov's Bistro was pleased to receive an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine, listed in the current August 2008 issue. Zov was commended for the wine list at the Bistro in Tustin. Zov's Bistro also received coverage in the August issue of Orange Coast Magazine, focused on Zov's new Mezze Lounge -- site of the NAWBO-OC members-only mixer on August 19.
OC Metro Business of July 17 features Joey Carlile on the cover in a story that features her creation and development of the fashionable Joey Jam Pack, which allows walkers to easily carry items like water bottles, cell phones, money, identification, and keys.

The Education Center needs YOU!
The NAWBO-OC Education Center was established to provide business education and business development support to women business owners. We do that by offering monthly courses, Success Teams, and annual educational scholarships. The Education Center has been well received by the NAWBO-OC chapter members and Orange County community and strives to be the educator of choice for women business owners. To keep up with the demand for business education, we're looking for a dedicated team to continue delivering the value.
If:
- You have a way with words- We need your help with marketing.
- You can sell snow to an Eskimo- We need your help with sales and promotions.
- You can make dull documents come to life- We need your help with graphic design.
- You are organized and detail oriented- We need your help planning our monthly courses.
- You can spot talent- We need your help finding instructors.
The time commitment is 2-3 hours/month including our monthly telephone meetings.
