DON'T MISS OUR June 3rd Progressive Dinner: To Grow or Not to Grow . . . How to Decide with speaker Joan Friedlander. Prior to launching her company in 2000, Joan held a variety of positions in a broad range of companies, and was a partner in a successful business in the 1980's. She's a paid speaker, and co-author of Women, Work and Autoimmune Disease: Keep Working, Girlfriend!, due out in June 2008. Today, Joan works with independent entrepreneurs who run the risk of being overwhelmed by the increased demands of success.
As you progress from table to table, you'll have an opportunity to talk to others about some of the important issues that are often overlooked:
- The practical questions: What additional resource requirements and management tasks are associated with growth?
- The personal questions: What impact will growth have on your personal time, lifestyle and relationship concerns? How will that change over time?
- The financial questions: What are the costs associated with growth, what investments will you need to make and when can you expect a return?
- The big question: Why do you want to grow?
