PUBLIC POLICY
YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED: Women's Procurement Program
and health insurance for the Self-Employed! H.R.
3867, The Small Business Contracting Program Improvements Act,
will
enable agencies to implement this program before the SBA
completes the necessary regulations. NAWBO has been an advocate
of this program since it was legislated and it was the top
recommendation of NAWBO's Procurement Task Force in 2006. S.
2239, Equity for our Nation's Self-Employed Act of 2007, will
amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow self-employed
individuals to deduct health insurance costs in computing self-employment
taxes. This is a tax deduction that corporations have had the
benefit of for years, but that has never been extended to the
self-employed. Together, let's raise our voices on these extremely
important issues. Click

those suffering from debilitating illnesses or injuries, experience a better
quality of life when they remain in the comfort of their own homes, among the
people that they love. And so Competent Care Home Health Nursing was established. ...continued

Sales
or Marketing - Which is More Important for Growth? by Lisa
Bromma Professionals frequently question whether
it is better to expand their marketing or expand their sales

Prepare Today for Tomorrow's Disaster Statistics show that 93 percent of companies that had trouble
restoring their data after a disaster were out of business
within 18 months. It's not just a hurricane, fire or flood
that can ruin a business; it can be a hard drive that unexpectedly
crashes or an important document that is misplaced. In the
day to day building of a business, preparing for the worst
is often overlooked or put on hold for more pressing matters.
