Welcome to the National Association of Women Business Owners' Orange County, CA web portal. If you're new to our organization, please take a few minutes to explore the site and familiarize yourself with our mission and current initiatives. There's a lot going on!
We happen to be one of the largest NAWBO chapters in the country, with 400+ active members. Our rapid growth is best attributed to the way we meet the needs of women business owners - with disciplined outreach, topical monthly programs, a state-of-the art mentoring program, diverse educational opportunities and an unprecedented peer-to-peer exchange of best practices and business-building experience. Simply put, this organization is inclusive, active and perhaps the most inspirational forum for business owners in Orange County.
As President this year, I've adopted a platform to organize the already impressive body of NAWBO-OC organizational programs and offerings into a super-efficient business-building engine. One that better defines and specifically matches our members' business needs with other members' products and services.
Of course NAWBO members already do business with one another - a lot of business. The platform's intent is to "turbo-charge" that activity.
So, how will we do this? For starters, through highly targeted networking, and, as we continue with a planned website conversion, through better use of technology. The possibilities though, are limitless. We'll be taking all of the powerful NAWBO-OC componentry: our popular and well-attended monthly meetings, our volunteer committees, new member orientations, our signature Remarkable Women Awards Event, educational classes, mentoring and success teams, the Women's Business Institute, etc. and organizing it into a super-efficient enterprise engine, for which our members are the fuel, and the outcome is accelerated progress toward their particular business goals.
What organizational forum can repeatedly place you in front of your target market and customers? What networking group can answer your day-to-day operating needs - on a local, statewide and national basis? What trade association gives you continuous face-to-face and virtual access to peers, experts and potential strategic partners? Where can you find support for your business through its start-up, growth, and maturity phases (and all of the bumps and detours along the way)? NAWBO-OC singularly rises to this occasion. It's is a truly unique organization of business owners: one that serves its members as an unprecedented source of information, of opportunity and of inspiration.
